Most generic code readers go shallow the moment you plug into a Toyota, a Nissan or a Hyundai. The JP V3.0 is the opposite — built around Asian-market ECUs, with full bi-directional control, OE-level coding and 47 service functions in a tough, pocket-ready handheld.
Command the fuel pump, ABS pump motor, window regulators and throttle, and watch each part respond in real time — pinpoint the faulty component in minutes.
Reprogram, configure and unlock hidden features across Hyundai, KIA, Mazda and Subaru — coding capability normally reserved for the dealer.
Speaks the next-generation Flexible Data-rate protocol that newer Asian vehicles already rely on — future-proof from day one.
New coverage and protocols delivered via the included card reader and your PC — zero annual subscription fees, ever.
All three share the same Asian-brand vehicle coverage and lifetime free updates. The JP V3.0 is the generation that adds the two capabilities the older JP V2.0 simply doesn't have — and keeps the proven, no-fuss button hardware.

The two highlighted rows are the JP V3.0's headline upgrades over the JP V2.0 — newly added bi-directional control (actuation tests) plus a greatly expanded set of high-level service functions, neither of which is supported on the older JP V2.0.
No diluted "global" menus. Every line of the JP V3.0's software is dedicated to the Asian-market marques below — for Daewoo, for Acura, for Honda, for Hyundai, for KIA, for Isuzu, for Mazda, for Mitsubishi, for Infiniti, for Nissan, for Nissan GT-R, for Subaru, for Suzuki, for Lexus, for Scion, and for Toyota — so you get deeper system access and more reliable connections on the cars you actually work on.
The iCarsoft JP V3.0 features a vibrant 4.3-inch screen and intuitive button navigation for quick, effortless menu browsing. It also comes standard with a dedicated card reader, making software and vehicle database updates entirely seamless via your PC. No Wi-Fi needed — update anytime via the included card reader and your PC.

Unlike other OBD scan tools on the market that require annual subscription fees, the JP V3.0 offers lifetime free software upgrades.
CAN-FD (Controller Area Network – Flexible Data-rate) is a next-generation automotive communication protocol adopted by Asian vehicles. The JP V3.0 supports CAN-FD, keeping it fluent with the newest Asian models rolling into your bay — no compatibility gap as the fleet modernizes.
Compatible with late-model Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai and other Asian vehicles with CAN-FD ECUs.
The JP V3.0 goes beyond reading codes. With full bi-directional control, you can command individual components and watch them respond in real time — cycle the ABS pump motor, run window regulators, activate the fuel pump, open the throttle, and run output tests on almost every onboard module. Pinpoint the faulty part in minutes, without trial-and-error.
Cycle the pump and run wheel-channel output tests on demand.
Activate the fuel pump and confirm a real response instantly.
Drive windows up and down to verify motor and module health.
Open the throttle and run output tests across nearly every module.
Maximize your workshop's capabilities with our professional-grade ECU Coding feature. Seamlessly bridge the gap between component replacement, software troubleshooting, and personalized driving experiences across Hyundai, KIA, Mazda, and Subaru car groups.

Skip the manual VIN typing — simply plug in, and the tool identifies your vehicle in seconds. No typos, no extra lookup time. This boosts accuracy, eliminates input errors, and makes every scan faster and more reliable.

The JP V3.0 is far more than a basic code reader. It integrates 9 commonly-used service functions for daily maintenance and 38 advanced professional functions for complex repair tasks.
In addition to the four standard systems (Engine, ABS, Airbags, and Transmission), the JP V3.0 provides diagnostic coverage for more complex vehicle systems.

Pull and erase engine trouble codes, stream live sensor data in real time, and switch off the check-engine light. Catch faults such as misfires, failing oxygen sensors and poor fuel economy early — before they grow into a costly engine repair.
Supports all 10 OBD2 test modes for vehicles compliant with 1996+ OBDII/EOBD/JOBD/KOBD/CAN/CAN-FD standards: Read Codes, Erase Codes, I/M Readiness, Live Data, Freeze Frame, Vehicle Information, O2 Monitor Test, On-Board Monitor Test, EVAP System Test, and Pending Codes.
Users can quickly access previously tested vehicle systems and save, share, and print diagnostic reports.
Use the Feedback function to report issues encountered during use — our technical team will review and provide assistance. Diagnostic data can also be printed for future reference by connecting the device to a Windows PC via USB.

Yes! The iCarsoft JP V3.0 includes lifetime free software upgrades. There are zero annual subscription fees or hidden costs. You pay once and get continuous software updates forever.
Not at all. AutoVIN depends on individual vehicle ECU protocols. If AutoVIN skips your car, simply use the Manual Selection mode—all diagnostic and service functions will work perfectly. Meanwhile, please send your VIN to our support team; we will verify it and add it to our database in the next software update.
Please keep ignition on and engine off. Record freeze frame data first before clearing codes.
Persistent hardware faults need physical repair prior to code clearance.
Some fault codes of systems like SRS and ABS can only be cleared after finishing bi-directional tests.
Please check the following steps to troubleshoot:
- Check Vehicle Compatibility: Ensure your vehicle is covered by the JP V3.0, please kindly refer to the vehicle coverage of JP V3.0.
- Turn Off Power-Saving: Disable any eco/battery-saving modes on the vehicle that might shut down modules during diagnosis.
- Update Device: Update both the firmware and vehicle software to the latest versions.
- Check Ignition: Ensure the vehicle key is turned to the "ON" position.
The ultimate upgrade of the JP V3.0 over the JP V2.0 is its newly added Bi-Directional Control (Actuation Tests) capability and a significantly expanded range of service reset functions, both of which are completely unsupported on the older JP V2.0.
