iCarsoft POR V4.0 for Porsche Diagnostic Scanner

Works as advertised. Needed it for a battery replacement. Saved myself lots of $$$ over a service center. Had a hard time having it except battery serial number, but I figured that quickly and everything else was a breeze.

Porsche content is more or less up-to-date, Toyota conent is outdated, does not recognize my 2025 Crown Signia VIN.

Working good so far. Easy to use. Responsive touch screen. Slow to boot up.

Bought this scanner for my 2013 Porsche Boxster S. Product arrived in good shape and was fully charged in less than an hour. Connected it to Wi-Fi and updated software, then ran OBD and Porsche specific diagnostics on car with no problems. Initialized a new battery and cleared codes. Everything worked as advertised.

So far, love it. Works quite well as a scanner for my Porsche, my Merceds, and Toyota. I like the fact that I can download three different vehicle lines. We'll see how it performs if I have an actual issue, but just testing it works great.

The scanner works well. Easy to use. Reset the oil change interval and registered the battery on my Porsche.

Only used it twice so far but it's excellent. Recently took delivery of a 997.1 that needed some TLC. After performing some needed work and maintenance I used the 4.0 to scan, clear, reset various codes. It's intuitive to use and can do much more than I'll likely ever use it for. I also downloaded one of the two additional auto manufacturer's software to use in the future on my SPA platform daily driver. The download was also intuitive, fast and a smooth process. I haven't used it yet but am sure it will be great as well. So far this is an excellent product and highly recommended for DIYers, enthusiasts and even some techs.

Bought this for my 1999 Porsche Boxster 986.1
In the first couple of weeks, kept me out of the shop for two issues. Realized a 2X ROI just from those two issues
iCarsoft has been responsive so far on assisting with diagnosing an alarm problem...they are analyzing the log files from the scans. Uploading log files from the scanner is a nice feature...push button

Lots more to explore on this device, but so far would highly recommend it.

The unit is fine, shipping was prompt. Still waiting for a response on a support question I submitted a week ago.

It didn't take much to download my vehicle profile and register a new battery. Absolutely seems to operate better afterward.

Reset my Panamera service warning (which my POR V2.0 did not) and improved usability and updates as advertised.

Excellent product, intuitive menu’s.

I received this about 3-4 business days after ordering. I had serviced my 22 Macan S 2.9L and needed to do the service reset.

I started it up, 100% charge out of the box. I then ‘upgraded’ to download the Porsche software (and JLR while I was there). I then plugged it into the Macan, turned ignition on. It asked for a VIN and I hit read. It immediately filled it in after identifying the vehicle. I selected service reset, reset all. And BAM! Done.

Definitely worth the money if you service your own Porsche. I’m hoping to have luck with the Jag when it’s time. But judging by the Porsche, I bet it’ll be just fine.

Been driving Porsche's since I ordered my first 911 Targa in 1969. Now after 57 years I still Drive 2. I have a Carrera and a 718 Cayman. I have always worked on them after the warrantee has run out. I also have 2 Mini's, one a JWC. I recently bought the Icarsoft Por 4.0 along with the 2 auto upgrades. I have a couple of other scanners but I found the Icarsoft to be much more intrusive and easy to use. I am also a programmer so the interface is very important. I found updating the unit including the download of 2 additional automobiles to be child's play along the the operation. Ease of use is without doubt what I look for. The fact that this unit has WIFI built in with easy connect is truly a fantastic feature not found in my other scanners. If you are like me and do your own service and tired of paying $600 for a 20 minute oil change and reset of your service light plus thousands of other valuable features, this is the tool that I would recommend.

The product is perfect / exactly what I needed to work on my 2022 Porsche Panamera. My frustration came with the lack of tracking or shipping information communicated after the purchase. All I needed was a tracking number and I would have been good. After a couple of days I used the Chat feature on the website only to find out it had been delivered earlier that day…. I was tempted to adjust my rating of the product because of this but I’m not that guy. Do better with the communication after the sale!

Very easy to use, reasonably fast and worked flawlessly with my 2025 Porsche Taycan. The unit actually gives quite meaningful info about the various stored codes, rather than just a number. Great!

I had the V3 and this is a great upgrade over it.
I love the touchscreen, wifi and especially being able to add 2 other cars.

Time will tell if the device delivers value. Hopefully the software developers will support all existing models and continue to refine each car manufacturers analysis and service software.

Sensational tool and so easy to use.

Really solid hardware – the 5-inch touchscreen is sharp, and the 32GB memory is more than enough. I use it for ABS bleeding, AC adaptation, and it even lets me save and print reports for my records. This scanner makes maintenance so much easier.
