Worked for Cayman GTS 4.0

I bought this to reset the oil service interval on a 2021 Cayman GTS 4.0. The auto VIN reader did not work, but my car was correctly recognized after entering the VIN, a somewhat cumbersome process. The reset was also a little clunky, including entering the exact time of the last oil change, and I did it twice before I was able to confirm that it worked. But it did the reset, so I'm satisfied. I was also able to read past codes for when the dealership overfilled my oil, so the code reader also seemed to not only work, but provide some useful information. In the service menu structure, I see functions for replacing a battery and for bleeding the brakes. Assuming those service functions also work, I don't have any reason to buy the pricier 3.0 version, and consider this an investment that will pay for itself very quickly.

Oil Reset Porsche 911 (991).

Super easy to use and very intuitive. My only purpose for this is to reset the oil change message and it worked. This item will save me 350.00 every year. Paid for itself the first time I used it.

Won’t reset everything.

Doesn’t reset a 2023 Macan oil service light. Just says, “function not supported on your vehicle.” On a 2022 cayenne it gave the same message multiple times but finally did reset for some reason. I updated the software immediately after buying as well. Tried with the key on, key off, engine running and not running, door and hood open and closed. Tried with different vehicles, different time and date formats, nothing could get it to work. I’m sure it’s fine on some older models but for the new stuff save your money or get an OtoFix or another Autel product who’s R&D is better and they actually have customer support in the US.

Very nice but did not read my issues

Really nice device. Unfortunately it did not read the issues I was having. I would have kept it, but I'm trading in my car soon for a new model and this one does not support new Porsche 911. I think I will return to purchase it at a later date, but for now I will need to get something like a Duramax which is more expensive but has more options for diagnosing more items hopefully the ones I am having issues with.
